Exciting Performances Announced for Greater Binghamton Air Show

USAF A-10 Thunderbolt demonstration & Golden Knights to headline June 23 show 

(TOWN OF MAINE, NY) It’s excitement in the sky when the Greater Binghamton Air Show takes flight at Greater Binghamton Airport June 23. The Greater Binghamton Airport is proud to announce today the exciting lineup of performers for the 2018 Greater Binghamton Air Show sponsored by Tioga Downs Casino. 

This year’s Air Show will be held on Saturday, June 23 at the Greater Binghamton Airport. Gates will open at 10 a.m. with jam-packed, exciting performances from noon until 4 p.m. 

The Air Show is expected to bring 12,000 visitors to the Greater Binghamton Airport. 

Headlining this year’s event performances are the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt demo and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute team. 

Performers also include the USCG MH-65D Dolphin, Acemaker T-33 demo, Canadian Harvard Aerobatic team, Vampire Air Shows, Scott Francis MXS, Paul Doughtery Pitts, Randy Ball with a MiG17, B-35 Panchito, L Birds and more. One highlighted performer is Jacque Warda. The aerobatic pilot wows the crowds wherever she performs. Warda has been flying for 30 years, and in 2003 she started her aerobatic career, becoming the first female pilot to enter the business at the age of 50. 

Also on the program is local resident Chris Zonio who will be be flying his 1/5 scale Thunderbird RC in the show. 

There will be WarBirds and static planes at the Air Show including a C-17 from NY ANG, KC135 from McGuire Air Force Base, MH-65 and T-6B.
